AIM is an approved HCAHPS survey vendor for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services

Allis Information Management (AIM) has been approved by the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) to administer the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and System (HCAHPS) survey, making AIM one of only 27 approved vendors nationwide. This opportunity builds on AIM’s established history conducting focus groups and satisfaction surveys for healthcare and other organizations.

“This is another way for AIM to provide hospitals with mixed-mode data collection methods that will obtain the highest response rates and the most meaningful results.” Sue LaBonville, President and CEO

The HCAHPS Survey is a national, standardized, publicly reported survey of patients’ perspectives of hospital care. In the United States, hospitals are required by CMS to administer the HCAHPS survey as part of the federal Value Based Purchasing program, which is used to adjust levels of Medicare reimbursements – rewarding hospitals that provide higher-quality care and encouraging continuous improvement in the quality of care. CMS also assigns a public star rating to provide consumers with the opportunity to compare hospitals based on HCAHPS survey results.
